Brake Service Specials in Cincinnati at Beechmont Ford

Do you need a brake job?
Do you need a brake discount?
Do you need excellent service?
If the answer is “Yes” to any of the previous questions, then you need to visit Beechmont Ford in Cincinnati now in the midst of their brake special. All makes and models are accepted.

Many people are not sure if or when they need their brakes serviced. You need a "brake job" when your brake linings are worn down to the minimum acceptable thickness specified by the vehicle manufacturer or the applicable state agency in areas that set their own requirements. The only way to determine if new linings are required, therefore, is to inspect the brakes.
You may also need a brake job if you're having brake problems such as grabbing, pulling, low or soft pedal, pedal vibration, noise, etc., or if some component in your brake system has failed. But if the problem is isolated to only one component, there's no need to replace other parts that are still in perfectly good working order.
There is no specific mileage interval at which the brakes need to be relined because brake wear varies depending on how the vehicle is driven, the braking habits of the driver, the weight of the vehicle, the design of the brake system and a dozen other variables. A set of brake linings that last 70,000 miles or more on a car driven mostly on the highway may last only 30,000 or 40,000 miles on the same vehicle that is driven mostly in stop-and-go city traffic.
So visit Beechmont Ford Service today to receive wonderful service and properly installed brakes.

Tips for Buying a New or Used Vehicle

An important first step to purchasing a car is finding a reliable car dealer. Finding a good car dealer involves looking at details like service, cost effectiveness, trustworthiness, and parts management. Choosing a dealer who will not just sell you the car, but who will provide reliable information and services is important. A reliable car dealer will not only help you purchase a good car, but will provide a hassle free shopping experience. Choosing a reliable car dealer can be made simple using the following tips.

Tip 1. Do your homework.
After you decide to purchase a car, (either new or pre-owned), do some research on the car dealers in your area. Do thorough research on car dealers who fit your budget and requirements. Ask your family, or friends, where they purchased their vehicle, and what their experiences were. If you select a car dealer with poor customer service then it may potentially cost you more than the actual cost of the vehicle. Good research will enable you to make the right choice of car dealer.

Tip 2. Decide what your requirements are and check the local dealers.
Before selecting a dealer, check the models offered to you based on your requirements. Do not get taken in by the sales pitch. Often, dealers provide car protection through warranty, and other special services. Some good dealers even provide financial assistance, parts management, and repair services. They also guide and help you find what you require from them. They cover your vehicle from mechanical failures for some period and offer discounts for a few services.

Tip 3. Be honest.
Be clear about your expectations, and share them with the dealer. Mention everything in advance including your budget and the components you are looking for in the vehicle.

Tip 4. Do the inspection.
Finally, do not forget to review the information to you given by the dealer before selecting them as your dealer. Often, good dealers push you to check the terms of sale documents. If the car dealer has a service department, walk through it, and check the services provided to their customers. Review the car dealership's auto inspection details to make your final decision.

This information should help you to select a reliable car dealer. With good and reliable dealer, your buying experience can be pleasurable.

Beechmont Ford Sales Testimonial: Paul from Cincinnati

I wanted to purchase a Ford for two reasons:
  1. Proven quality, my 2001 Ford Taurus station wagon had 432,000 miles and was still running well. I had finished a 323 mile business trip. I loved that wagon, my 4th Ford wagon.

  2. I wanted to purchase another Ford because of my previous successful vehicles; four Ford wagons.

Sales Testimonial: Dick Barrick at Beechmont Ford

Hi Jeff (Fithen),

As you probably know, Dick Barrick was kind enough to meet me at the old Montgomery Ford location this afternoon and accompany me on a test drive of a 2009 Edge, which I fell in love with almost immediately. He spent a lot of time telling me about the features of the vehicle (with absolutely no pressure), and met me back at that location at 5:00 to purchase the Edge. All the paperwork was already done; all I had to do was sign and get back in the car and drive home.

I cannot express enough how pleasant it is and always has been to do business with Dick Barrick. You have a true jewel working for you--he knows everything there is to know about every vehicle, he is a gentleman and does not pressure the customer at all, he inspires absolute trust, and he makes the purchase such a simple, efficient experience. If every Ford dealership had employees even half as expert as Dick, their sales would improve greatly. He truly went above and beyond the call of duty to take care of my needs, as he always has. I hope you are paying him what he is worth!!

I have done business with Williams Ford / Montgomery Ford ever since I moved to Cincy 18 years ago and hated to see the dealership close. Beechmont Ford is just so far for me to travel. However, I was elated to see your service/used car business take over the old location and plan to have all my service work done there. In other words, I want to stay in the LorMar family, and especially want to purchase any future vehicles with the assistance of Dick Barrick.

I thank you and Dick for a wonderful experience. I am elated with my new Edge and will tell everyone how great it is, and how pleasant my experience with your dealership has been.

Sincerely,

Sharon Knight

Cash for Clunkers Legislation Signed

President Obama signed into law the “Cash for Clunkers” program, also known as the Car Allowance Rebate System (CARS) by NHTSA. This is a government program that helps you purchase a new, more fuel efficient vehicle when you trade in a less fuel efficient vehicle. NHTSA is charged with implementation of rules within 30 days. Stay tuned for more details.

Cash for Clunkers Update

President Obama has not yet signed the Cash-for-Clunkers legislation, passed by Congress last week, into law. However, it is anticipated that he will do so soon.

Once signed by the President, the government has 30 days to create rules to implement the cash-for-clunkers program and an informational Web site for consumers and dealers. NADA is working with the Department of Transportation (DOT) to implement a program that makes sense for both dealers and consumers. In the interim period, dealers are encouraged to advise consumers to consult the DOT's website, http://www.cars.gov/ and EPA's http://www.fueleconomy.gov/.

Dealers are advised that "clunker" transactions completed prior to the publication of DOT regulations may not qualify for reimbursement by DOT. At this time, there is no procedure for dealers to register as a participating dealer and no approved affidavit indicating that the vehicle has been sent to a scrap yard. Until regulations are promulgated, dealers accepting vehicles under this program do so at their own risk. Dealers are not obligted to participate in the program and are advised to wait until the final regulations are published sometime in mid-to-late July so they can be certain to comply with the program.

We will provide additional information as soon as it becomes available.

OnStar Vehicle Diagnostics

At Lawrenceburg Chevrolet we value your business and want to do everything possible to make sure that your ownership experience is as easy and convenient as possible.

When you purchased your new vehicle you had the opportunity to take advantage of OnStar Vehicle Diagnostics email. This is a feature where your car or truck can automatically run a diagnostic check every month and send you an email with the results. The email report is easy to read and diagnoses nearly every system in the vehicle including things like tire pressures and a prediction for upcoming maintenance that is recommended by General Motors.

OnStar has a new feature called Dealer Maintenance Notification that is included with your OnStar email service. Once you enroll, whenever your car or truck needs GM recommended maintenance, OnStar sends a note to our Service Department. Then we can contact you by phone or email to schedule an appointment -- and you have got one less thing to worry about.

Both of these features are included with your OnStar subscription -- there is no extra charge. You can easily enroll by pushing the blue OnStar button in your vehicle and asking the OnStar Advisor to enroll you, or you can visit the My Account page or OnStar and sign up online.

We want to help you to maintain your vehicle and this is a great way to make it simple and easy. To show our appreciation for selecting us as your preferred dealer for OnStar Dealer Maintenance Notification, simply bring this blog post with your proof of enrollment in Dealer Maintenance Notification or allow us to assist you with enrollment during your next visit.

Please call us if you have any questions, or if we can be of assistance.

Sincerely,
